The truth will bring you freedom If you're honest with yourself, It's hard for one to admit to the True condition of their hearts, Like a mirror reflection, They don't recognize, I see so many pretending, Living in fear of being judged by society, What good is it to live, by someone else's standards, when you don't have a peace with your self, Pride stands in the way, Of being honest and real with each other, Happiness is appreciating, What you have and making the best of all situations good or bad. Taking them all as a learning experience, And not letting them make you bitter inside, Learning to forgive and the need to be forgiven, And to acknowledge what they mean. As a stepping stone, Of the journey in this life.
