i too am looking for info on the 'voodoo' of haitian slaves during the independence of the island. form my knowledge, this 'voodoo' is not so much a black magic, but an off-shoot of the spiritual baptists of those slaves from Tobago and Trinidad. the term voodoo is what was given to these baptists by the colonials.
